My Unusual Limu Plus Experience
I have had an unusual experience with Limu Plus and I'm wondering about the "science" behind it. I joined Vitamark in September '07 and immediately started taking Limu Plus. I began to notice the most "awful" side effect (LOL). My hair started getting thicker and growing to the point that I had to get it cut every two weeks! I already have enough hair for three people so this was NOT a blessing! My Husband, who has very little hair, noticed and began taking the "snake oil" as he called it. Low and behold, two months later we find that HIS hair is also getting thicker and growing faster! Is this just incidental, or is there actual science behind it? My husband also has degenerative disk problems in his neck. He has had constant pain for two years despite treatment. Within one week of starting Limu Plus, His pain went entirely away! GONE! He now has no pain at all as long as he takes 1 ounce twice a day. Limu Plus is now on the menu at the Robbins' house twice daily for everyone.
Thanks for such a great product!

There is some scientific evidence to support the pro-hair growth ingredients in Limu Plus. For instance, green tea,(according to a study Published 22 July 2005 in J Natl Med Assoc, 97(6): 816-8, consumption of green tea caused regrowth of hair in mice). There is the equivalent of 1-2 servings of green tea per serving of Limu Plus. And we know that stress contributes to hair loss and that adaptogens offer relief from stress. You get 2 grams of a proprietary blend of Russian Adaptogens per serving of Limu Plus. This is enough to impact hair loss due to stress.
And, fucoidan, found in Limu Plus, was reported on at the Oct. 6-9, 1999 Annual Meeting of the Japanese Biochemical Society to enhance the production of Hepatocyte Growth Factor(HGF) which, among other benefits provides a stimulus to hair growth.
Also, Limu Plus contains several vitamins, trace minerals and amino acids(the building blocks of protein which is essential to hair growth) that are essential to hair growth. Those that are prresent in Limu Plus are indicated with an * among the ingredients below:
